Contents & Personal Effects
Coverage for the personal property inside your toter home — clothing, electronics, tools, and gear — on the road and at the track.
Everything you'd insure inside a house — clothing, electronics, furniture, tools — is riding down the highway inside a toter home instead. A standard commercial auto policy typically covers none of it.
Contents & Personal Effects Coverage includes:
- Personal belongings inside the coach — clothing, electronics, furnishings
- Tools and equipment carried for race-team or professional use
- Coverage for theft, fire, and weather damage to contents
- Off-premises coverage when items are removed from the coach temporarily
- Scheduled coverage available for higher-value individual items
What's Usually Missing
Physical damage coverage on the coach itself protects the structure — it doesn't protect what's inside it. Without a contents endorsement, a fire, theft, or collision that destroys the coach can also wipe out everything inside with no coverage to replace it.
Built for Working Rigs
Race team toters especially carry real value beyond personal items — spare parts, tools, and equipment that keep a team running. We can schedule higher-value gear separately so it's covered at its actual worth.
Summary
Contents coverage is inexpensive relative to what it protects. If your current policy only covers the vehicle itself, everything you're carrying inside it is exposed.
